The spread list that Markets.com offers starts from 0.8 pips on EUR/USD.

Markets.com offers a transparent spread list that offers variable spreads across several asset classes, with forex spreads that start from 0.8 pips EUR/USD. Markets.com offers commission-free trading on the CFD trading account and broker fees are taken from the spread charged.

The share dealing account attracts the following type of commissions.

  • US shares – from 2c and a minimum of 15 USD
  • UK shares – from 0.1% and a minimum of 8 GBP
  • EU shares – from 0.1% and a minimum of 10 EUR
  • AU shares – from 0.1% and a minimum of 10 AUD

Additional Trading Fees

Overnight fees, also known as swap fees or rollovers, are either credited or debited depending on the financial instrument being held and whether the trader is holding a long or short position. Markets.com offers Muslim traders an Islamic account that can be used to avoid earning/paying overnight fees.

In addition, Markets.com charges the following fees on the share dealing account.

  • Custody fees at a rate of 0.15% with a minimum of 5 EUR per month during the first commission-free period. After this period is over, investors will be charged 0.12% and a minimum of 10 EUR.
  • Currency conversion fees are charged at 0.50% during the commission-free period and 1% thereafter.
  • Stamp duty of 0.5% is applied to UK stocks.
  • There is a Financial Transaction Tax (FTT) of 0.30% charged on large-cap French stocks.
  • For every $1 million traded on US exchanges, there is a $20.70 fee charged.
  • US shares attract an administration fee of up to $0.05 per individual share.

Markets.com is not a spread betting broker which means that spread betting fees will not apply.

Broker Fees

Markets.com does not charge any deposit and withdrawal fees. The only broker fees indicated for Markets.com relate to currency conversion fees, administration fees, and an inactivity fee when the trading account goes dormant.
